Normandy and Paris, France / September 6, 2006
A few days ago, we went on the longest bike ride I’ve ever been on. It was 18 miles through Normandy and Omaha beach where World War 2 happened. We stopped at a place with the best crepes I’ve ever had. Our second stop was at a cute little town where we had lunch. After lunch, we walked around the town and looked at the beach, and hopped on our bikes and went home.
P.S. That made my bum very sore. 😂
The next day was another train ride that felt pretty quick, but when we got to Paris, we walked around and looked at shops.
The next day, we went to the Louvre, which is a famous art museum, and we got to see the real Mona Lisa. I got a doll at one of the shops and made accessories for it.
That leads us to today, where I’m writing in my journal in our little tiny apartment in Paris.
